School-Based Services

NPA Provider

As a certified Nonpublic Agency (NPA), our practice is contracted with select school districts to provide evaluations, Vision Therapy, and Perceptual Testing for students who qualify through their IEP. This allows children to receive the specialized visual support they need while ensuring services are properly documented and reimbursed through the district.

Our goal is to make the process smooth, collaborative, and supportive for families, teachers, and school teams.

What is an NPA

A Nonpublic Agency (NPA) is a licensed provider approved by the state to deliver specialized services to students who require support beyond what their school can offer. NPAs work directly with school districts to ensure students receive appropriate, high-quality care as part of their educational plan.

Being an NPA means we meet strict standards for training, documentations, reporting, and student care.

Services We Provide Through School Districts

Depending on the student's IEP, we may provide:

  • Visual Evaluations
  • Perceptual |Testing
  • Vision Therapy
  • Progress monitoring
  • Reports
  • IEP attendance
  • Collaboration with teachers and advocates

All services are individualized that meet the student's educational needs.

How the Process Works

1. Referral from the school district

The district determines and sends us the referral.

2. Evaluation

We complete the necessary assessments, including perceptual testing when appropriate.

3. Results & Reporting

Scores are reviewed after the evaluation. A follow-up consultation will be scheduled to go over the results with the family. A written report is

provided to the family and school district for IEP documentation.

4. Therapy Sessions

Students attend sessions as outlines in their  IEP. We track progress and communicate regularly with the district.

5. Ongoing Support

We provide updates, reports, and recommendations for IEP meetings.
